읽기 평가틀에 대한 비교 연구

초록

이 연구의 목적은 체계적인 연구 성과를 기반으로 한 외국의 읽기 평가틀을 비교 분석하여, 평가틀 연구가 우리의 읽기 교육에 주는 시사점을 모색하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 국제수준의 PISA와 PIRLS 및 국가수준의 NAEP와 NAER의 읽기 평가틀을 검토하였다. 이러한 읽기 평가틀은 범주와 영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 각각의 평가틀은 범주와 영역 설정 방식에서 그 나름의 특징이 드러난다. 읽기 평가틀의 범주 구분에 따른 하위 영역을 비교해 보면 서로 같은 지향점을 지니고 있는 반면에, 각각의 평가도구에서 그 초점을 달리하는 부분이 존재한다. 이와 같은 읽기 평가틀 연구가 우리의 읽기 교육에 주는 시사점으로는 읽기 능력에 대한 개념 확장, 읽기 과정에 대한 체계적인 구분, 다양한 읽기 텍스트에 대한 접근, 읽기 평가도구의 문항 비율 고려 등을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze reading assessment framework that is based on a systematic research result. And we tried to argue on what the study of reading assessment framework suggest in our reading education. In this study reading assessment frameworks, we reviewed PISA(Programme for International Student Assessment)'s framework, PIRLS(Progress in International Reading Literacy Study)'s framework in international level, and NAEP(National Assessment of Educational Progress)'s framework, NAER(National Assessment of English Reading)'s framework in national level. Reading assessment frameworks are composed of categories and areas, and each frameworks are characterized as to way setting up categories and areas. When we compare categories and areas in reading assessment frameworks, we can find reading assessment framework's structure have similarity each other, while there are different points between them. This study of reading assessment framework suggest that our reading education are oriented to expansion of definition to reading literacy, division of systematically about reading processes, access of various reading text, and consideration about rate of items in assessment instrument.
