언어보편성에 기반을 둔 한국어 학습자들의 중간언어 이중모음 연구 -중국어, 몽골어 화자를 중심으로-

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 학습자들의 중간언어 이중모음의 발음 양상을 언어보편성에 기반을 두고 설명하는 데 있다. 중국어 화자들과 몽골어 화자들의 이중모음 발음의 양상을 구성원소의 결합과 분해의 작용으로 분석하여 그 안에 나타나는 언어보편적인 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 중국어 화자들은 중국어 음절구조의 영향으로 두 개의 모음으로 분리해서 발음하려는 경향이 두드러졌고 몽골어 화자들은 몽골어 음절구조의 영향으로 단모음으로 발음하려는 경향이 두드러지게 나타났다. 이를 통해 중국어 화자와 몽골어 화자 모두 이중모음을 발음할 때 조정(수정)을 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 무표적인 것보다 유표적인 것을 더디 습득하고 조정 즉 수정을 더 많이 한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 언어보편적인 특성이 한국어 학습자들의 중간언어 이중모음의 발음에도 적용됨을 확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the pronunciation patterns of Korean learners' interlanguage diphthong based on language Universal. The patterns of the diphthong pronunciation of Chinese speakers and Mongolian speakers are analyzed by the composition and decomposition of the elements. We wanted to look at language Universal in the pronunciation of the interlanguage diphthong. The Chinese speakers tried to pronounce it in two separate vowels under the influence of the Chinese syllable structure. Mongolian speakers tried to pronounce in monothong under the influence of Mongolian syllable structure. This shows that Chinese speakers and Mongolian speakers modify when pronouncing diphthong. And we could see that they acquire and modify more of the marked than the unmarked. In other words, we could see that the language universal are applied to the pronunciation of a interlanguage diphthong by Korean learners.
