한국어 학습자 담화에서의 반복현상 연구

이 글은 한국어 학습자 담화를 중심으로 의사소통 전략으로서의 반복이 어떻게 사용되는지 하는 양상을 살핀 것이다. 반복은 형식적으로는 ‘단어 내에서의 반복, 단어의 반복, 구절의 반복, 문장의 반복’으로 나눌 수 있는데, 단어 내의 반복현상이 가장 빈번히 일어났다. 또한 반복은 숙달도가 높은 고급의 학습자도 자신이 중요하다고 여기거나 이해를 확인하기 하거나 설명을 요청하기 위해서 입력된 것을 반복하는 경향이 있다. 따라서 ‘반복’은 한국어 학습자가 할 수 있는 적극적인 의사소통 전략이면서 학습전략의 하나로 볼 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze repetition in Korean Learners’ discourse. Researchers defined repetition in various ways depending on their different areas. Phycholinguistics, socio-linguistics, and linguistic points of view are some examples. In this paper, repetition is defined as 'the reuse and paraphrase words which should be same or similar in form and be linked with the meaning in utterance of oneself or others'. Repetition as a communication strategy is used to create a meaningful dialogue, participants solidarity and mutual dialogue, and it is also used to be a learning strategy. Formally, the Repetition can be divided as follows: repetition between a word, repetition of words, repetition of phrases, and repetition of sentences. Repetition can also be divived into self-repetition and others-repetition. The functions of repetition are repair, emphasis, confirmation, correction etc.
