본 연구는 중국 대학 한국어학과 재학생을 대상으로 인공지능 번역 도구의 사용 경험, 인식, 교육 활용 및 진로 영향을 분석하였다. 설문지 주·객관식 질문에 대한 응답 결과, 학습자들은 과제와 수업에 인공지능 번역 도구를 적극 활용하며, 어휘·문법 처리에는 만족했으나, 문화·전문 분야 번역의 한계를 인식하였다. 도구를 유용한 학습 자원으로 평가하면서도 과도한 의존에 경계심을 보였고, 주관적 효능감과 실제 역량의 격차를 경험하였다. 또한 인공지능이 통번역 시장과 직무 패러다임에 미칠 영향에 대해 복합적 태도를 나타냈다. 교육적으로는 프리·포스트에디팅 구분, 문화·전문 텍스트 중심 훈련, 번역 리터러시 강화, 보조 수단으로서의 활용이 제안되었다.
Abstract
This study examines the experiences, perceptions, educational applications, and career implications of AI translation tools among Korean language majors at Chinese universities. Survey and open-ended responses indicate that learners actively use AI in coursework, expressing satisfaction with lexical and grammatical processing while recognizing its limitations in cultural and domain-specific translation. They regard AI as a valuable resource but remain cautious about over-reliance, experiencing a gap between perceived self-efficacy and actual competence. Students also acknowledged AI’s impact on the translation market and professional paradigms, showing mixed attitudes toward the human role and potential collaboration with AI. Pedagogical suggestions include distinguishing between pre- and post-editing, focusing on specialized texts, strengthening AI literacy, and positioning AI as an auxiliary rather than compulsory tool.
