This study is to evaluate QOL's components and suggest improvements of metropolitan-area. The method was chosen to more clearly understand the opinions of Daegu and neighborhood-area residents about their 'quality of life', by drawing out ideas of quality of life in the daegu metropolitan-area from among the entire population. The results of this study are as follows. First, overall satisfaction of QOL is higher Daegu metropolitan-area than neighborhood-area. Second, the average of QOL's components of area is show difference significantly. Third, the factors influencing of QOL's satisfaction counted regional economy, housing affordability, and health. Fourth, among the main factors improving quality of life, education & culture, health, family & transportation high on their list. For development overall QOL level, there is presented improving poor QOL factors, namely regional economy, social welfare.
