초등도덕교육에서 도덕원칙의 적용에 관한 연구

최근에 고시된 “2015 도덕과 교육과정”은 ‘도덕함’이라는개념규정을 통해 도덕교육이 실천을 지향해야 함을 명확하게 드러낸다. ‘함(doing)’을 강조하는 도덕함을 도덕교육에서 구현하기 위한 방법이다양할 수 있지만, 본 연구는 도덕원칙을 활용하였다. 이에 도덕원칙을탐구하고, 그것을 초등도덕교육에서 적용하는 방법을 모색하였다. 도덕원칙은 ‘규칙’과 ‘원칙’에 관한 검토를 토대로 탐구될 수 있으며, 이것은 도덕적인 문제 상황을 판단하거나 해결할 때, 또는 어떤 도덕적인 행동을 결정할 때 중요한 근거로 작용한다. 또한 도덕원칙은 규정성, 보편화 가능성, 우선성, 공지성, 실천 가능성 등의 특징을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 초등도덕교육에서 활용할 수 있는 도덕원칙 몇 가지를 탐구하고, 그것들을 구체적인 상황에서 적용해 보았다.
Abstract
It is clearly revealed that moral education should aim to the practices in recently announced the 2015 curriculum of moral education through doing morality. There are many different ways to realize doing morality that emphasizes doing in moral education. This study utilizes moral principles. Hence this paper investigates moral principle, and is looking for ways to apply it in elementary moral education. Moral principles can be explored on the basis of the examination of the 'rules' and 'principles'. And they are important bases when we need to judge or resolve moral problem situations, or when we need to determine moral behavior. Also, they have features such as prescriptivity, universalizability, overridingness, publicity, practicability. This paper investigates some moral principles that can be utilized in elementary moral education, and it can be applied to them in the specific situation.
