도덕과 초･중학교 내용 체계 연계의 의의와 방향

본 연구에서는 도덕과 교육과정 문서의 내용 체계에서 파악되는 초･중학교 간 연계의 의의 및 방향을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 연계의 사전적 의미와 함께 연계의 교육 목적과 의도를 강조하는 한편, 연계는 총론과 각론 수준 모두에서 그 가치가 있음을 증명하였다. 본격적인 내용 체계 연계 탐색의 경우, 내용적 수준과 형식적 수준에서 논의를 전개하였으며 2015 개정 도덕과 교육과정 및 2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정 시안개발 연구 자료의 일부 영역을 중심으로 예를 들며 문제점을 분석하고 이를 극복할 수 있는 방향을 제안하였다. 내용적 수준의 경우 도덕심리학 및 도덕철학적 전통을 바탕으로 접근하였으며, 형식적 수준의 경우 교육과정 문서에서의 어휘나 용어, 진술 및 표현 등의 통일성과 배치와 같은 가시적 문제를 중심으로 접근하였다.
Abstract
This paper explored the significance and directions of alignment in the content system between elementary and middle school moral education curriculum. First, the meaning of ‘alignment’ is verified, and the importance of it in the content system between elementary and middle school level is discussed in the context of the framework and moral education curriculum document. Second, specific areas from the 2015 revised and 2022 draft version of the moral education curriculum are analyzed from the perspectives of contents and forms. On the level of contents, two approaches, moral psychology and moral philosophy, are mainly used. On the level of forms, visible issues such as the unity or placement of words, terms, statements, and expressions, are identified.
