초등학교 초임 교사를 위한 교수 체제 설계 모형의 개발 연구

본 연구는 설계기반 연구를 통하여 초등학교 초임 교사들이 교수설계를 할 때 적용할 수 있는 최적화된 교수 체제 설계 모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교수설계는 수업을 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가하는 단계를 포함하는 조직화된 과정이다. 지금까지 많은 교수 체제 설계 모형들이 제안되어 왔지만 자체의 이론적 문제점과 현장과 부적합성 문제로 초등학교 교육 현장에서 제대로 활용되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근의 교수 체제 설계 모형 이론과 초등학교 현장의 교수설계 활동에 관한 선행 연구를 토대로 초등학교 교사들이 활용할 수 있는 최적의 교수 체제 설계 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 최근의 교육 이론과 초등교육의 특징과 현장의 상황을 고려하여 교수 체제 설계 모형에 반영할 요소들을 추출하고, 1차 교수 체제 설계 모형을 개발하였다. 1차 모형은 교육공학자 3인과 초등학교 교사 3인으로부터 모형의 타당성과 현장 적합성을 검토 받아 2차 모형으로 수정되었다. 2차 모형을 활용하여 초임 초등학교 교사 3인과 5년 경력 이상의 초등학교 교사 3인이 실제 교수설계 활동을 하면서 모형의 장단점을 제시하였다. 교사들의 의견을 종합적으로 분석하여 최종적인 모형을 제시하였다. 향후 실제 교수설계 과정에 본 모형을 적용하여 개선점을 확인함과 동시에 실제적인 효과성을 확인하는 후속 연구가 요구된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an optimal Instructional Systems Design model for elementary school teachers by the design-based research. Instructional Design is defined as a systematic process of analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the instruction. Although a variety of Instructional Design models have been suggested, they are not well practiced in elementary schools due to their own theoretical problems and their impracticality of application. This study tried to develop an optimal Instructional Systems Design model for elementary school teachers based on the recent Instructional Design theories and the literature about instructional design activities in elementary school. The first model was developed by considering recent educational theories and conditions of elementary school and then extracting the components for the Instructional Systems Design model. 3 educational technologists and 3 elementary school teachers investigated the validation and suitability of the first model and their feedback was documented. The first model was modified and developed the second model based on resulting feedback. The second model was tested for use by 3 novice and 3 expert elementary school teachers, and the strengths and weaknesses were suggested. Further studies are expected to investigate the improvements of the model by applying the Instructional Systems Design model to the practical process of instructional design and examine the effectiveness of the model.
