논평: 교육공학 창립 30주년 기념 논문이 주는 시사점

본 논평은 한국교육공학회 창립 30주년을 기념하여 한국교육공학을 다양한 측면에서 바라봄으로써 교육공학의 현재를 이해하고 미래 방향을 예측, 제안하는 여섯 편의 논문을 심도있게 분석, 재해석할 뿐 아니라 추가적인 관점에서도 논의를 하고 있다. 이 여섯 편의 논문은 각각 교육공학과 교육정책의 관계성, 교육공학 관점에서 보는 미래 교육환경, 교육공학과 테크놀로지의 의미와 연구동향, 교육공학과 학문 융합의 논제, 교수-학습이론과 수업이론의 개념화, 학교교육과 교육공학과의 연계성을 다루고 있다. 저자들의 분석과 해석 그리고 제안은 독자들이 한국교육공학의 과거와 현재를 이해하는 데 분명 많은 도움을 줄 것이지만 동시에 학문공동체로서 교육공학이 이제부터 고민해야할 숙제거리 역시 제공하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 어떤 논제는 저자와 일치되는 입장에서 우리가 확대 고민해가야 할 것이며, 어떤 논제는 저자의 관점에 대한 타당성 확인과 함께 더 깊고 넓은 논의를 계속해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This commentary reviewed 6 KSET 30th Anniversary research papers which attempted to identify the current pictures of Korea's educational technology as an academia and suggest its future direction. The current review came out with analysis, re-interpretation and additional new perspectives different from the original writers' points of view. The six papers dealt with relations between educational technology and national educational policies, future educational environment through the lens of educational technology, meanings and research trends of technology in education, issues of educational technology and academic convergence, conceptualization of teaching, instruction, and instructional (design) theory, and relations between school education and educational technology, respectively. In conclusion, the authors' analytic interpretation and suggestions in their papers surely seemed to provide valuable chances for the readers to understand the past and the current of Korea's educational technology academia. On the other hand, however, they left difficult issues for educational technology community to examine and resolve as well.
