연구 목적: 독일 폴란드 양국이 역사교과서를 서로 공유하고 화해와 공존의 역사를 만든다는 것은 우리에게도 시사점을 준다. 이러한 역사적 사례들을 밝힘으로써 우리도 일본을 비롯한 주변국과의 관계사를 건설적인 방향으로 정립해나갈 수 있다는 것이 본고의 목적이다. 연구 방법: 이러한 연구를 위하여 다양한 2차 연구문헌들이 활용되었고 역사서술을 하는데 있어서 현지에서의 반응과 사례들을 정리하였다. 연구 내용: 독일 폴란드는 독일문제에 있어서 주요 당사국인 국가들이었다. 1970년대 동서 데탕트가 진행되면서 신동방정책도 추진되었고 양국의 학계와 정부는 민감한 역사를 서술하는데 있어서 협력을 도모하였다. 결론 및 제언: 독일과 폴란드간 역사서술에 대한 공동의 노력을 통해 현재 독일과 폴란드는 불행했던 과거를 상당부분 해소했고 독일문제에 대한 입체적이고 다양한 시각들을 제공함으로써 양국간 역사해석에 도움을 주었다. 본고에서는 전후 독일문제를 다루었으나 근대부분에 대해서는 어떠한 시각차이가 있는지에 대한 추후 연구가 요망된다.
Abstract
Germany and Poland were the main parties in German affairs. As East-West détente progressed in the 1970s, the New Ostpolitik was promoted, and the two countries sought cooperation in describing sensitive histories. The fact that the two countries share history textbooks with each other and create a history of reconciliation and coexistence gives us implications as well. The purpose of this paper is that by revealing these historical cases, we can also establish our relationship with Japan and neighboring countries in a constructive direction. For this study, various secondary research documents were used, and responses and cases in the field were summarized in the history description. Through joint efforts on historical writing between Germany and Poland, the two countries have resolved much of the unfortunate past and provided three-dimensional and diverse perspectives on German issues, helping to interpret history between the two countries. This paper mainly dealt with German question, but further research on the difference in perspective is required for the modern part.
