Structural Relationship Between the Degree of Participation in Collaborative Activities and the Use of Collaboration Strategies in the Online Learning Environment of University Students

연구 목적: 이 연구는 온라인 학습 환경에서 대학생들이 사용하는 협업 전략 특성을 조사하고 협업 참여도와 협업 전략들 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 방법: 총 146명의 대학생을 대상으로 온라인 수업 환경에서 사용하는 협업 전략과 협업 참여 정도를 조사하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 참여자들은 과제수행전략, 응집전략, 협력적 상호작용전략, 그리고 메타인지 전략 순으로 많이 사용하였다. 또한 메타인지전략, 협력적 상호작용전략, 응집전략이 과제수행전략을 통해 협업 참여 정도에 간접적으로 영향을 끼치는 것을 발견하였다. 결론 및 제언: 대학생들의 협업 역량의 강화를 위해 온라인 학습 환경에서의 메타인지 전략을 포함한 다양한 협업 전략 사용에 대한 지도가 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of collaborative strategies used by university students in an online learning environment and to understand the structural relationship between the degree of collaborative participation and collaborative strategic factors. A total of one hundred forty-six university students participated in the survey asking how actively they engage in collaboration activities and what kinds of collaborative strategies they used. The results showed that metacognitive strategies, collaborative interaction strategies, and cohesion strategies indirectly affect the degree of collaboration participation through task performance strategies. In order to strengthen university students’ collaborative competence, education on various collaborative strategies including metacognitive strategies is needed in an online learning environment.
