Abstract

The strategic objective and cooperation & conflicts of communistical block leaders during the period of Korean War armistice treaty negotiation. This thesis covers the cooperation and conflicts of communistical leaders including North Korea · China · Soviet during the period of Korean War armistice treaty negotiation. Even if the nations tie the strong allies through the share of ideologic value, they pursued maximization of national interests in making national politics related to war execution. During the Korean War, the soles of communist block were separated quite each other. Because North Korea engaging in war, China supporting North Korea, Soviet backing North Korea did not partly matched their own national interests each other. They can not but suffer the process of cooperation & conflicts. In the time of armistice treaty negotiation of communistical block, each nation’s leaders shared the ideology of proletarian internationalism and cooperated in respect of alliance relations each other. But they showed a considerable level of conflicts relations in front of national interests. After all, the ideologic value of the duty of proletarian internationalism was used the mechanism of the power nations forcing the weak nations’ politics. The part of background above described reflects the theory of international politics and personal characteristics recognized through their own life. In conclusion, during the period of Korean War armistice treaty discussion, when North Korea · China · Soviet politic leaders decided foreign policies, they weighed on rather the relative national interests and the leader’s the establishment of domestic political power than the ideologic value of proletarian internationalism. The background of this cooperation & conflicts partly were influenced by the recognition on international politics experienced through each political leader’s life and personal characteristics.
