초록
This thesis analyzed give and receive verb expressions in Korean by classifying preceding verbs with the method used in analyzing give and re-ceive verb expressions in Japanese. As give and receive expressions in Korean have no limit in perspective , there exists only one verb juda without differentiation like the verbs 「やる(yaru)」 and 「くれる(kur- eru)」 in Japanese. However, the verb 「(juda)」 is divided into 「direct give form」、「possessor give form」、「third person give form」、 「evaluative give form」 and 「causal give form」 in terms of sentence structure, just like the give form sentences of the Japanese verbs 「yaru」 and 「kureru」 even though it has no difference in perspective and thus there exists only one verb in Korean that corresponds to “give”, which is different from Japanese. In addition, Korean has 「dalda」 as a unique give and receive verb. The verb 「dalda」 is used only in the imperative form 「dala」 in a sentence when expressing a request in indirect narration.
