Since the post-cold war, the United States was left as the only superpower in the global political system. By using the concept of “strategic triangle,” this article discusses the perspectives of cross-strait Relations between China and Taiwan and its impact on East-Asian Regional Security. Additionally, an examination of Taiwan’s Presidential and legislative elections scheduled to be held in January and March, 2008 will be covered as well. Through its analysis, hopefully, an overall picture of cross-strait relations can be displayed.
Abstract
