아태지역 주요국의 ‘안보협력 경향’에 관한 연구

미국과 중국의 패권경쟁의 국제환경 속에서 지역 국가들은 외교, 경제, 군사 등 다양한 분야에서 국제협력 관계를 형성하고 있다. 특히, 안보협력은 국가의 생존과도 직결되는 문제로 신중한 접근을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 지역 국가들이 자국의 이익을 추구하며 안보, 외교, 경제 등 다양한 협력관계를 추진하고 있는 가운데, 어느 국가와 상대적으로 안보협력관계를 더 강화하고 있는지, 그 수준과 추이를 살펴본다. 하지만 안보협력 경향에 대한 상관관계분석이 대부분 정성적이고 특정 분야에 집중하여 분석한 연구가 대부분이다. 본 연구에서는 동북아 및 ASEAN 주요 국가를 연구대상으로 ‘미국, 중국, 러시아, 일본, 한국, 북한’과 안보협력 및 영향력에 대해 정량적 분석을 한다.
Abstract
In the international environment of competition for hegemony between the United States and China, regional countries are forming international cooperative relations in various fields such as diplomacy, economy, and military. In particular, security cooperation is taking a cautious approach as it is directly related to the survival of the nation. In this study, while regional countries pursue their own interests and promote various cooperative relationships such as security, diplomacy, and economy. Then which country are they relatively strengthening their security cooperative relationship with? Analyze its level and trend. However, most of the correlation analyzes on security cooperation tendencies are qualitative. And most of the research focused on a specific field. Therefore, this study quantitatively analyzes security cooperation and influence with 'USA, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and North Korea' by targeting major countries in Northeast Asia and ASEAN.
