21세기는 미국 우위의 국제질서가 유지되는 가운데 중국, 러시아, 인도 등의 지역들이 강국으로 부상하고 있다. 중국과 러시아를 비롯한 잠재적 강대국들의 도전, 상호 실리적 이해관계를 중심으로 한 국제질서의 변화와 발전에 따라 미국의 영향력은 축소되는 추세이다. 동북아 지역에서는 미·중 관계, 우호국들과의 관계가 상존하여 향후 미국과 중국의 변화를 단편적으로 전망하기는 어렵다. 특히 미국과 중국의 관계 변화의 핵심인 양국의 경제와 군사적 전략은 한국의 대응 방안에 중요한 변수가 될 것이다. 본 연구는 동북아 지역에서 미국과 중국 관계의 변화와 양국의 국가전략을 이해하기 위해 기존 연구문헌들을 검토하였다. 본 연구의 분석은 국립외교원, 국방연구원 자료 등 1차 자료와 각종 정책보고서, 단행본, 연구보고서, 인터넷 자료 등 2차 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 향후 미국과 중국의 갈등구도는 당분간 지속될 것으로 보인다. 따라서 한국은 새롭게 부상하고 있는 중국에 대한 유연한 접근과 다각적 분석을 통해 미국과 중국의 전략적 이해관계와 남북한 통일문제에 관한 입장 등을 다각도로 검토해야 한다.
Abstract
The predominance of the United State in the 21st century international order is maintained among the China, Russia, India, etc., and has emerged as a powerhouse areas. China and Russia, as well as the challenge of the potential powers, mainly the mutual pragmatic interests depending on the change and development of South Korea us influence is the trend of the collapsed. U.S.-China relations and friends in the Notheast Asian region and to the future U.S.-China relations may change, it is hard to view as a fragmented. In particular, the economic and military strategies of the U.S.-China relationship is important to South Korea’s responses will be a variable. This study, U.S.-China relations and changes in national strategy between the two countries in order to understand the existing research literature review was. In this study an analysis of the primary data and secondary data were utilized. As a result, the future U.S.-China conflict analysis of the landscape, for the time being, will be continued. Therefore, Korea need for flexible approaches about China, and U.S.-China’s strategic interests and position for the North South reunification issue should be examined.
