Abstract
This study examined job satisfaction among military police investigators amid organizational changes such as redistribution of investigative authority and structural reforms. Transformational leadership (idealized influence) was specified as the independent variable, organizational socialization strategies (mentoring, proactive behavior, social support) as mediators, and job satisfaction as the dependent variable. Survey data from 326 investigators were analyzed using regression and structural equation modeling (SEM). Results showed that transformational leadership had no direct effect on job satisfaction but significant indirect effects through socialization strategies, with mentoring and social support as key mediators. These findings indicate that leadership enhances job satisfaction primarily via socialization processes, highlighting the need for integrated strategies that combine leadership development with mentoring and support in military police organizations.
