본 연구는 인천시 고립은둔 청년을 유형화하고, 유형별로 지원 방안에 대한 참여 인식의 차이를 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2024년 인천시 은둔형 외톨이 실태조사 데이터를 활용하여 R 프로그램으로 잠재계층분석(LCA)을 수행하였고, SPSS 20을 통해 집단 간 차이분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 선행연구에서 고립은둔 청년의 유형화를 시도한 바 있으나, 유형별 지원방안을 실증적으로 분석한 연구는 드물다. 분석 결과, 고립은둔 청년은 5개의 잠재유형으로 분류되었으며, 각 유형은 사회적 지지체계의 수준에 따라 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 20개의 지원방안에 대한 참여 의향을 분석한 결과, 10개 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 확인되었다. 본 연구는 인천시 고립은둔 청년의 유형을 실증적으로 구분하였다는 학술적 의의와 함께, 고립은둔 청년의 특성에 따른 차등적 지원정책의 필요성을 경험적으로 제시하였다는 정책적 의의를 지닌다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to classify socially isolated and reclusive youths in Incheon and examine the differences in their perceptions of support program participation by type. Using data from the 2024 Survey on Reclusive Youth conducted in Incheon Metropolitan City, a Latent Class Analysis was performed using the R program, and a group difference analysis (ANOVA) was conducted using SPSS 20. Although previous studies have attempted to typologize socially isolated youths, few have empirically examined the differences in support strategies across types. The analysis identified five latent types of reclusive youths, with notable distinctions primarily related to the level of social support systems. Among the 20 proposed support programs, 10 showed statistically significant differences in their willingness to participate. This study academically contributes by empirically classifying the types of reclusive youths in Incheon, and contributes to policy-making by verifying the need for differentiated support strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of each type. These findings provide evidence-based insights for developing local policies to support reclusive youths more effectively.
