『洪範衍義』의 찬집과 교감 그리고 간행-212년의 여정-

Abstract

This paper concentrated on the time of publication of Hongbeomyeoneui. This book began to be compiled in 1652 and finally was published in 1863, requiring 212 years for completion. This process can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, Jonjae and Galam started the compilation process in the 17th century and Milam, the son of Galam, performed proofreading in the early 18th century. In the second stage, the grandsons of Milam made corrections in the late 18th century. Naengcheon, Daesan, Myeonunjae and Manwa were the ones who undertook this work. In 1772, they completed the correction of Hongbeomyeoneui but the text couldn't be published because of the death of Naengcheon in 1773. In the third stage, according to the proposal of Namgo, proofreading was led by Jeongwa with contributions by Gueum, Cheonjae, Yeokam, Seorim and Woiam. The first proofreading was conducted at Imha Doyeon in December of 1862 and the second proofreading at Jinbo Baekhoseodang in January of 1863. Hongbeomyeoneui is assumed to have been published under the leadership of Yakpa in 1863.
