이 연구의 목적은 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis)와 Q방법론을 통합적용하여 대학보직교원에게 필요한 역량이 무엇인지를 탐색하는데 있다. 대학보직교원에게 필요한 역량을 추출하기 위하여 문헌분석, 심층인터뷰 그리고 IPA를 적용하여 대학보직교원의 역량요인을 찾아내었으며, Q방법론 연구 경험이 많은 전문가와 대학보직경험이 3회 이상인 전문가 검증을 통하여 40개의 Q표본을 추출하였다. IPA 설문결과의 집단별 차이 검증을통하여 집단별로 차이를 보이는 계층을 P표본 추출의 지표로 삼았으며, 각 지표에 해당하는 40명의 P표본을 연구의 대상으로 하였다. Q분석결과 대학보직교원의 역량은 4개의 유형으로 구분되었다. 1유형은 윤리성에 기반한 의사소통 역량으로 구분되었다. 2유형은 효과적인 조직관리를 위한 의사결정역량으로 구분되었고, 3유형은 통찰에 기반한 비전제시 역량, 4유형은 신뢰에 기반한 조직관리 역량으로 구분되었다. 대학보직교원에게는 실무적인 조직관리 기술과 인간으로 갖추어야 할 기본성품을 통합한 역량이 필요함이 발견되었고, 이에 대해 세 가지 논의점을 찾아 논의하고 결론을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to exploring of college administrative professors’ competence using IPA and Q-methodology. The result of this study as follows. Applying Q methodology, four types of college administrative professors’ competence were identified: ‘Ethic based communication competence’, ‘Decision making competence for effective organizing management’, ‘Insight based vision present competence’, and ‘Trust based management competence’. The competence is different from other leadership and other social community like as company and army society. Specially, ‘Ethic based communication skill competence’ is unique competence for college administrative professors.
