한국 교육철학의 연구 동향과 과제 -21세기 한국 교육철학 연구의 방향 모색을 위하여-

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to search for trends and tasks of the philosophical research of education in Korea. For the purpose of this research, I have been analyzed 3,300 essays and over concerning the philosophy of education that had been published in Korea from 1960 to 2003. So this research was conducted on the following view points. First, how wide is the variety of those research topics of philosophy of education in Korea? Second, what methodologies have been used in those research of philosophy of education in Korea? Third, have they fulfilled their responsibilities and duties of their own in the real field of education? Fourth, how is the problems of identity of the philosophy of education in Korea? Last, what is the new problems of education in the future society that is called 'knowledge society' or 'lifelong learning society'? And in order to analyze those essays I made an analytic form as a tool that has an abscissa and a vertical axis. The abscissa has 10 categorized research methodologies and the vertical axis has 7 categorized research subjects including 33 more detailed subjects. The result of this study shows that there is a little significant progress in the variety of research subjects and methodologies though those are concentrated on some specific fields in recent ten years and philosophical research of education should be more interested in the real field of teaching and learning in the future.
