북한의 경제적 상호의존과 군사분쟁의 상호인과성 분석

초록

본 연구는 북한의 경제적 상호의존의 변화와 군사분쟁 발생에 대한 상호인과성을 분석을 시도했다. 북한의 경제적 상호의존과 군사분쟁 관계 회귀분석 결과 북한이 군사분쟁을 발생시키면 경제적 상호의존은 감소하며, 경제적 상호의존이 증가하면 군사분쟁이 일어날 확률은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 북한의 경제적 상호의존과 군사분쟁은 상호인과성을 가지고 있다. 군사분쟁이 발생하면 경제적 상호의존을 감소시키고, 경제적 상호의존이 증가하면 지역통합과 평화를 촉진시킨다는 자유주의의 주장을 뒷받침한다. 경제적 상호의존과 군사분쟁의 상호작용 효과는 북한도 국제정치체제 하에서 움직이고 설명이 가능하다는 것을 보여준다. 북한의 경제적 상호의존을 증대시켜 군사분쟁이 발생하는 것을 감소시켜 나가는 것이 한반도 평화와 번영의 공동체로 발전시켜 나가는 데 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 북한의 경제적인 요인이 정치·군사적 요인 보다는 평화와 번영에 적용될 수 있다. 한반도 평화를 통한 번영은 경제를 활성화시키고 경제적인 성장은 군사분쟁을 억제시켜 평화를 보다 굳건하게 만들 것이다.

Abstract

This study attempted to analyze the simultaneous causation in economic interdependence and military disputes in North Korea. North Korea's economic interdependence and military disputes regression analysis shows that if North Korea causes a military dispute, the economic interdependence decreases, and if the economic interdependence increases, the probability of military disputes decreases. North Korea's economic interdependence and military dispute have mutual causality. It supports the argument of liberalism that military disputes will reduce economic interdependence, while increasing economic interdependence promotes regional integration and peace. The interaction effect of economic interdependence and military disputes shows that North Korea can move and explain under international political system. Increasing North Korea's economic interdependence and reducing the occurrence of military disputes can have a positive impact on the development of a community of peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula. with North Korea’s economic factors can be applied to peace and prosperity rather than political and military factors. Prosperity through peace on the Korean peninsula will stimulate the economy, and economic growth will restrain military conflict and make peace stronger.
