이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사들이 학생들의 글쓰기를 지도할 때 활용할 수 있는 서면 피드백 요인을 도출하는 것이다. 많은 교사들의 글쓰기 지도의 중요성을 인정함에도 불구하고, 중점적으로 지도해야 할 요인에 대한 관심은 크게 모아지지 못했다. 그로 인해 교사들 스스로 글쓰기를 지도에 어려움을 느끼며, 이는 학생들의 글쓰기에 대해 적절한 지도가 이루어지지 못하는 원인이 되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 탐색적 요인 분석을 통해 초등학생들의 글쓰기 지도에 활용할 수 있는 서면 피드백 요인을 탐구하였다. 그 결과 학생들이 쓴 글에 서면 피드백을 할 때 교사들은 총체적, 국소적, 화제 초점 및 구조 유형의 세 요인에 중점을 두고 지도해야 함을 알 수 있었다. 총체적 요인은 형식 및 내용 문단의 구성, 글의 전체적인 구조와 비율, 주제에 대한 고려 등을 말한다. 국소적 요인은 주술 호응의 문장 수준과 상황에 알맞은 단어의 사용 등을 말한다. 끝으로 화제 초점 및 구조 유형은 주제와 관련된 내용 쓰기와 글의 종류(장르)에 따른 특성이 잘 드러나도록 쓰기 등을 말한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to draw written feedback factors that can be used by elementary school teachers when they instruct writing skills to pupils. Even though many teachers recognize the importance of instructing writing skills, they usually fail to pay attentions to factors that should be focused on when instructing. Thus, teachers feel some difficulty in instructing writing skills by themselves and it becomes one of causes that results in improper instruction of writing skills for pupils. Therefore, this study explored written feedback factors that can be used for instructing writing skills for elementary school students through exploratory factor analysis. From the findings of this study, it is known that three factors such as holistic and local factors, theme focus and structural type shall be emphasized when teaching. Holistic factors refer to constitution of forms and contents of a paragraph, a writing’s overall structure and ratio, and considerations on a topic. Local factors mean composition level of a sequence of a subject and a predicate verb and appropriate usage of words for situations. Finally, theme focus and structural type refer to writing contents related to a topic and writing in order to show characteristics according to a composition’s kind(genre).
