Abstract

Since the uprising of dual-earner model and women’s labor participation, caring problem comes to an important issue of social policy. One critical issue is on the direction of de-familization and re-familization of caring. However, caring policies have been differentiated from a certain nation to the other one, according to the dynamics of gender perspective about women's labor right and ideology on sexual division of labor. Although many countries have involved in active social caring policies after 2000s, each carries different policy formation and implementation in details on policy priority and welfare-mix. This research aims at the analysis of the changes of caring policies from gender perspective among United Kingdom, France and Sweden and at the suggestion of political implications in Korea.
