Abstract
Now the integration is a very popular word in private sector. Recently, a lot of Korean public servants begin to notice the importance of integrated administration as well. ‘Integrated administration’ means that more than two public agencies work together to solve urgent public issues and to deliver public service smoothly. Actually, many Korean government agencies have been completed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with each other. However there are few attempts of systematic management or empirical study on the integrated administration in Korean public sector yet. This study makes suggestion for developing the integrated administration by analyzing various cases such as in Canada, Australia and the U.S. Based on the foreign case, I suggest the support of top management, the existence of leading agency, the provision of guidance, and the clear responsibility among the participating agencies as the successive factors of integrated administration in Korea.
