Abstract

The materials of <Chooksan Byeolgok>, which are currently known to the academic world, included the missing parts and misreads from the introducing the work. And the errors were reproduced as they were continuously used as a research material without the confirmations or the corrections. Therefore, this paper has modified this to provide the more accurate research material. “Chooksan Byeolgok” has a difficulty in the defining its character because the form and content of Travel Gasa and Gangho Gasa are mixed. This work attempted to describe the experiences of enjoying the arts (風流) during his three years in chooksan and create Travel Gasa like <Kwandong Byeolgok>. But it can be said that the work has lost the unity of composition due to the failure to properly control the emotions of Gangho Gasa. The reason why "Chooksan Byeolgok" has an atmosphere of Gangho Gasa can be explained that Jeong Sik, the author abandoned his greed for the government post, was satisfied with his situation and indulged in the artistic experience. The artist's temperament created the characteristics of this work, the delicate and sensational sentiments and rhetorics.
