？越南亡國史？의 飜譯 過程에 나타난 諸問題

Abstract

Problems in Korean Translation of The Fall of Vietnam Song, Ye-hui The Fall of Vietnam (越南亡國史) written by Liang, Qichao tells about the process of fall of Vietnam in the early 20th century. This work was translated into Korean by Hyeon, Chae, Ju, Si-gyeong, Lee, Sang-ik and Kim, Jin-seong and it had a strong influence on the society of those days. Researches on Korean versions of this work have been done mainly on its contribution to Korean literary history, its influence on the society of those days, and the process of its translating into Korean, publishing and diffusion. However, it remains a matter of concern that none of these researches has been done on the base of carefully comparing Korean versions with Chinese original work. So I did a comparative study and found lots of omissions, errors and translators' changes in the Korean versions. In this paper, I pointed them out and corrected them. I wish that this paper may lay the foundation of further researches on characteristics of literary style in the translation from Chinese into Korean.
