對立 關係와 否定文의 實現에 대하여 -反對 關係와 缺如 關係 下에서의 否定 極性 成分의 共起 樣相을 中心으로－

本稿는 對立 槪念의 否定文 實現 樣相을 否定 極性 成分과의 共起 樣相을 통해 살펴본다. 대립적 현상은 相關 關係, 矛盾 關係, 反對 關係, 缺如 關係 下에서 나타나는데, 특히 반대 관계와 결여 관계는 兩 極端을 相互 否定 含意한다. 그런데 반대 관계에서는 尺度性이 상정될 수 있으나 결여 관계에서는 불가능하다. 이에 따라 반대 관계 하에서 나타나는 否定 極性 成分의 共起 現像은 극히 제약적인데, 이는 이 관계 하에서의 制限的인 否定의 脈絡, 부정과 무관한 中間 段階의 존재 때문이다. 반대로 결여 관계는 비록 否定文 形成 要素가 드러나지는 않으나, 양 극단의 중간 단계 상정이 불가능한 矛盾 對照 關係를 형성한다. 그러므로 이 관계는 부정 극성 성분이 자유롭게 공기하는 전형적인 부정문으로 표상된다. 한편 부정적 요소가 보이는 否定 接頭 派生 形容詞들은 부정의 의미가 존재하나, 통사적으로는 부정문을 형성할 수 없다.
Abstract
This paper studies on the conception of opposition and the negation sentence formation through NPI restriction. When conception of opposition is classified into correlation, contrariety, privation, and contradiction, we especially become to focus on contrariety and privation. Because these two of them negatively entail oppositional extreme mutually. However we can catch a minute difference of them. First of all, we can set up a scale into the both extremes and some middle stages in contrariety. On the contrary it is impossible in privation. Therefore NPI co-occurs restrictively in contrariety forms weak contexture of negation, and NPI co-occurs without any restriction in privation reveals similar property with contradiction. Besides there are many derivation words with negational prefixes which have been regarded as members in contradiction and privation in the literal sense of the word in korean. However they cannot co-occur with almost NPI and we can assume a scale with two extremes. They could not be negation predications that form normal negation sentence, even though we can capture the meaning of negation at any rate.
