새로 발견한 肉談風月 「八情詩」 硏究

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to introduce Paljeongshi (八情詩), a New Found poem to Korean academia for the first time. It is a piece of Youkdampungwol (肉談風月), a sort of poetry which can be interpreted to not only Chinese poetry but also Korean. And it is different from other pieces of Youkdampungwol (肉談風月) because it combines the styles of the Chinese poetry and Korean by reproducing the method of making poetic lines which is found in Gachanggasa (歌唱歌詞) in late Choseon (朝鮮) dynasty. In this article I also studied the types of Youkdampungwol (肉談風月) which can be divided into three. First type composes Korean phrases written in Chinese character which can not be translated to Chinese poetry. Second type has the similar phrases as the first type has, but unlike the first type they can be interpreted to not only Chinese poetry but also Korean. Third type has the phrases which can be interpreted to both Chinese poetry and Korean like the second type, and it reproduces the formal characteristics of Korean poetry in addition. Paljeongshi (八情詩) belongs to the third type which pioneered a new style of Chinese poetry by combining the Chinese poetry and Korean. So it can be evaluated as possessing more important value than any other pieces of Youkdampungwol (肉談風月) which have been found until now.
