[죽천행록] [연일긔] [을병연행록] [戊午燕行錄] 등은 朝鮮朝 後期의 代表的인 國文 使行錄들이다. 記錄者의 認識 變化는 각 사행록에 나타나는 內容의 흐름과 函數關係를 갖는다. 거의 모든 사행록 기록자들은 中國에서 얻은 見聞들을 통하여 자신의 世界觀이나 先入見을 수정하는 경향을 보여 주었다. 華夷觀이나 對明義理論, 小中華意識 등으로 대표되던 이 시기 知識人들의 세계관은 연행을 계기로 변화하기 시작했다. 淸나라의 文物을 접하면서 二分法的 世界觀은 克服될 可能性을 보여주었고, 보다 적극적인 경우는 그들의 문화를 배우려는 움직임, 즉 北學運動으로 구체화되기도 했다. 대상으로 삼은 네 건의 국문 사행록들이 보여주는 기록 시간은 기록자들 사이에 이어졌을 影響의 授受關係나 순서와 일치된다. 中華文化의 源泉이 明 王朝라고 믿고 있던 當代 知識人들로서 淸나라 樹立 이후 겪었을 內面的 葛藤은 사행의 기록들을 통해 表面化되었다.
Abstract
A Diachronic Study on the Korean Records by the Later Chosun Dynasty's Envoys to Beijing Cho, Kyu-ick This study is to research the diachoronic characteristics of the representative Korean records by the Later Chosun dynasty's Envoys to Beijing(an abbreviation：KRCE), Jukchon-Haengrok, Yonhaeng-Ilgi, Eulbyong-Yonhaengrok, Muo-Yonhaengrok. The writers succeeded to bring the novelty of the scenery features in the China into relief by citing the many things that the former writers observed. The social status, inclination, and worldview of the writers have the functional relation with the differences among the records. Most of the writers had clear subjectivity in their own way. We can find out the diachronic aspects connecting the KRCEs. Jukchon-Haengrok is a record about the epic confrontation and triumph. The essential content of Yonhaeng-Ilgi is the discriminating view between Chinese and Manchurians, or a hostile feeling against the Qing dynasty and their civilized sublimation. Eulbyong-Yonhaengrok is a record about the dismiss from the discriminating view between Chinese and Manchurians by the self-awakening and the inspiration of the reason that we should learn the Qing dynasty's culture. And Muo-Yonhaengrok is a record to emphasize the self-consciousness through the minute description about the objects. Jukchon-Haengrok is a record in the center of events, the others are in the center of description of the facts, explain, and demonstration.
