이 글은 인터넷망을 통해 의사소통되는 通信言語의 言語媒體的인 特性을 밝혀 通信言語가 보이는 言語規範의 逸脫 현상을 설명하는 데 목적을 둔다. 통신언어는 음성 언어에서 문자 언어, 문자 언어에서 다시 통신 언어로의 言語媒體 變化에 따른 發展的 段階의 하나로서, 여느 언어 매체와 마찬가지로 매체적 속성에 따른 특징적 면모를 띤다. 통신 언어의 형식적 매체는 전자 매체이다.通信言語는 音聲言語와 文字言語의 兩言語媒體的 特性을 보이며, 음성 언어에 有緣的인 것과 無緣的인 것으로 나누어 살펴볼 수 있다. 文字 規範에 어긋난 연음 표기와 동화 및 탈락 표기, 방언 및 유아어의 표기, 은어 및 비속어의 과다 사용 등은 음성 언어에 유연적 특성을 보이는 것이며, 이모티콘과 특유의 문체법, 첨가 및 욕설 표현의 변형 표기 등은 음성 언어에 無緣的인 특성을 보이는 통신 언어라 할 수 있다.
Abstract
On the Computer Communication Language through Inquiring into Its Linguistic Medium Characteristic Han, Dong-wan The purpose of this article is to explain the deviation of the computer communication language through illuminating the characteristic of it as linguistic medium. The computer communication language has its own aspect dominated by change of linguistic medium, such as from spoken language to written language, and from written language to electronic language. Because of its formal instrument, it shows two properties of spoken language and written language simultaneously. Its property motivated by spoken language is involved in the accommodation of phonological phenomena and using jargon, and the property not motivated by spoken language is reflexed in emoticon, its peculiar style, modification of abusive language.
