公知文의 指示 表現에 관한 一考察

본고는 공지문을 話行的 관점에서 指示的 텍스트의 하나로 보고 공지문에 사용된 표현들을 指示的directives 행위의 수행이라는 측면에서 분석하였다. 2장에서는 公志文의 適切性 條件을 지시의 適切性 條件과 비교하면서 公知文의 지시적 성격에 대하여 논의하였다.3장에서는 공지문에서 사용되는 다양한 지시 표현의 話行的 특성과 각 표현에 작용하는 恭遜의 原理에 대하여 논의하였다. 指示의 話行은 다른 언어 행위들에 비해 수신자에 대한 공손의 정도가 약한 언어 행위이므로 공손함이나 체면에 대한 暫定的 威脅을 최소화하기 위한 戰略으로 發信者는 다양한 언어 표현을 사용한다. 공지문에 사용되는 다양한 지시 표현들은 각각 서로 다른 話用的 특성을 갖는데 이는 發信者의 지시 태도의 차이와 이에 대한 受信者의 반응들을 표현하는 데 적절히 사용된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the pragmatic function of sentences in bulletin based on speech act theory. Generally speaking, a Bulletin text is written in several sentence-types for announcements related to public interests. However, if we are concerned about what addressers are trying to accomplish with the announcement, we recognize that the ultimate purpose of a bulletin is not to announce a matter of public interest to addressees but to request the reactions of addressees. Accordingly, we assume that the speech act done by a bulletin text is not representative but directive. In chapter 2, we demonstrate expressions in a bulletin text as directives comparing the felicity conditions of a bulletin text with the felicity conditions of directives developed by J. Searle(1969). In chapter 3, we examine sentence-types of a bulletin text and their speech act types. Furthermore, we also argue that sentence-types represent different politeness levels of directives. As a result, we present the following table.
