國語 形容詞 {이-}의 語彙素 分類 試稿 －‘確認, 屬性, 所在, 提示 等’의 意味를 中心으로－

本稿는 국어 形容詞 {이-}의 여러 語彙素를 구분하는 기준을 설정하고 이를 적용하여 일부 語彙素를 실제로 구분하는 작업을 수행하였다. 기존의 {이-} 논의들은 소수의 전형적인 용례를 위주로 성격을 규명하려 하였으나, 실제로 {이-}는 다양한 意味와 用法을 가지고 있어서 각각의 의미와 용법에 대한 穿鑿이 이루어진 후에야 비로소 올바른 분석이 가능하다는 것이 필자의 생각이다. {이-}가 가지고 있는 다양한 의미를 구분해 내기 위해 類型論的, 意味論的, 統辭論的 기준을 제시하였다. 이들 기준의 특성과 기준의 적용 과정을 통해 本稿에서 검토하려 했던 용례들이 모두 개별적인 語彙素로 구분되어야 함을 보이었다. 필자에게 있어, 本稿는 {이-}의 모든 語彙素를 구분해 내고, 그들의 모든 친소 관계를 밝히며, {이-}가 어휘론적․통사론적 관점에서 어떻게 다루어져야 하는지 등에 대한 답을 찾아가는 일련의 {이-} 연구의 시발점의 성격을 갖는다.
Abstract
This paper aims to set up some criteria of separating lexemes of Korean adjective {I-}, and show the process of the separating. There have been a lot of papers related to {I-}, but they could not escape the criticism that the examples were limited only to typical uses of {I-}. We believe that if we want to clarify the nature of {I-}, at first we should show and examine the whole uses and senses. For this purpose, I proposed 4 typological, 3 semantic and 8 syntactic considerations. Through the discussion on the characteristics and the application of the criteria, this paper verified that the examples mentioned in this paper should de divided into each lexeme and showed the relative degree of intimacy of the examples. For me, this paper is a starting point to distinguish all lexemes of Korean adjective {I-} and to show the relative degree of intimacy among them and how to deal with Korean adjective {I-} in terms of lexicology and syntax.
