초록
In this study, we evaluated six fungal strains through bioassays to identify the most effective strain for biological control of aphids, which are sap-sucking pests commonly found in greenhouses. Simultaneously, the strains 104, 167, 190, 221, 286 and 313 which were initially misclassified as Lecanicillium genus were re-identified through DNA sequence analysis and morphological characteristics. As a result, based on the current taxonomic system, the strains were newly re-identified as Lecanicillium aphanocladii (104 & 167), Flavocillium subprimulinum (190), Akanthomyces muscarius (221), Akanthomyces attenuatus (286), and Pochonia chlamydosporia (313). Among them, only the strains 221 and 286 belonging to the genus Akanthomyces showed over 50% insecticidal efficacy. These results suggest that entomopathogenic fungi of the genus Akanthomyces can be used as effective agents for aphid control.
