‘话’류 단어의 은유적 확장에 대한 고찰

본 연구에서는 인지언어학의 관점에서 중국어 '话’류 단어와 관련된 자료를 폭넓게 관찰하여, '话’의 은유적 확장 과정을 분석해보았다. 존재의 대연쇄 토대적 은유에서의 사물 은유는 '话'를 음식물 또는 사물로 개념화하고, 생명체 은유에서는 '话'를 머리, 꼬리를 가진 동물로 인지한다. 상황적 은유의 '그릇 도식'에서는 '话'를 그릇 또는 그릇 안에 존재하는 실체로 인지한다. '경로 도식'에서 '话'는 근원지에서 출발하여 목적지로 전달되거나, 중도에 머무르거나 되돌아온다. '방향 도식'에서는 '话'가 어떤 기준 그 위 또는 아래로 이동할 수 있다. 또한 [앞은 알려진 것이고, 뒤는 알려지지 않은 것이다] 은유,[중심은 중요하고, 주변은 덜 중요하다] 은유를 보여준다. '연결 도식'에서는 ['话'는 관계이다] 은유에 의해 사회관계 및 대인관계를 이해한다.
Abstract
In this study, from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, data related to Chinese '话' words were widely observed to analyze the metaphorical expansion process of '话'.The metaphor of objects in the metaphor based on ghain of being conceptualizes '话’ as food or object, and in the metaphor of life, '话’ is recognized as an animal with a head and a tail. In the 'container schema' of a situational metaphor, '话’ is recognized as a bowl or a substance existing in the bowl. In the ‘path schema’, '话’ starts from the source and is delivered to the destination, or stays in the middle or returns. In the 'orientational schema', '话’ can move above or below in a certain standard. It also shows the metaphor [the front is known, the back is unknown] and [the center is important, the surroundings are less important]. In the 'link schema', ['话’ is a relationship'] it can understand social relations and interpersonal relationships by metaphor.
