소옹邵雍 ‘관물觀物’을 통한 교육원리 탐색

우리를 둘러싼 타자와의 관계를 이루어가는 과정에서의 어려움은 관계의 대상을 바라보는 시각에서 발생하며 구체적으로는 사태에 마주했을 그 상황에 입각하여 즉각적으로 발현되는 감정에 기인한 것임을 알게 된다. 논자는 이러한 상황에서 제시되어야 할 표준원리와 지침을 마련하고자 하는데, 이러한 의도에 합당하도록 참고할 만한 사유를 송대 유학자인 ‘소옹(邵雍)’ 에게서 발견할 수 있었다. 소옹은 북송오자 가운데 한 사람이지만 도가적 영향을 받은 사상적 특유함이 있다. 그의 사상적 독자성은 도가와 유가의 사상적 융합을 통해 드러나는데 이 융합 지점은 현대를 살아가는 우리에게 시사하는 바가 크다. 이에 우선 소옹의 성인에 대한 입장을 통해 현시대를 살아가는 우리에게 제공할 수 있는 삶의 지침을 파악하고자 한다. 그리고, 관물(觀物) 개념을 통해 마음을 세워가는 과정에 대해 논의하여 마음의 확립, 타자를 바라보는 주체가 어떻게 규명되어야 하는지를 제안하도록 할 것이며, 마지막으로 반관(反觀)이라는 개념을 통해 타자를 마주하는 올바른 자세를 제시함으로써 현대를 살아가는 우리가 타자와 어떻게 관계 맺고 살아가야 하는지 현대사회에서 개개인이 갖추어야 할 올바른 시각과 입장 제안을 넘어 교육 지침이나 원리를 탐색해 보도록 하겠다.
Abstract
We find that the difficulty in establishing relationships with others surrounding us arises from the perspective of looking at the object of the relationship, and specifically, it is due to emotions that are immediately expressed based on the situation in which we face the situation. The author intends to prepare standard principles and guidelines to be presented in this situation, and a reason to refer to this intention was found in '邵雍(Xiao yong)', a Confucian scholar of the Song Dynasty. Although Soyang is one of the Northern Songos, he has the distinctive ideological characteristics that were influenced by Taoism. His ideological identity is revealed through the ideological fusion of Taoism and Confucianism, which has great implications for us living in the modern world. First of all, I would like to grasp the guidelines of life that can be provided to us living in the present age through Soong's position on adults. In addition, we will discuss the process of building a mind through the concept of 觀物(Gwanwu) and suggest how to establish a mind and identify the subject who looks at the other. Finally, by presenting the right attitude of facing the other through the concept of anti-consideration, we will explore educational guidelines and principles beyond the correct perspective and position suggestions that each individual should have in modern society.
