국방분야 스마트 기술적용 확산을 위한 탐색적 연구

스마트 기술의 발전은 4차 산업혁명을 견인하고, 국가와 사회의 전 영역에서 혁신을 위한 동력을 제공하고 있다. 국방분야에서도 이러한 변화와 혁신에 동참하기 위해 ‘첨단기술 집약형의 정보화·과학군 건설’을 목표로 무기체계 및 병영관리 등 다양한 분야에서 4차 산업기술의 융합을 추진하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 국방영역에서 각 분야별로 추진중인 스마트 기술적용 사례를 분석하여 국방 혁신동력으로서의 발전 가능성을 확인하고, 향후 확산에 요구되는 주요 고려사항을 식별하여 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 문헌 및 자료연구를 통해 분야별 스마트화 추진동향과 국방영역에서 추진중인 스마트 기술 적용사례를 고찰하여 시사점과 향후 확산 시 고려요소를 도출하였다.
Abstract
The development of smart technology is driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution and providing the driving force for innovation in all areas of the country and society. In the defense sector, in order to participate in these changes and innovations, the government is pursuing the convergence of the 4th industrial technologies in various fields such as weapon systems and barracks management with the aim of building high-tech-intensive information and science. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential development as a defense innovation engine by analyzing the cases of smart technology in each field in the defense sector, and to identify and present the main considerations required for the future expansion. To this end, through literature and data studies, the trends in the field of smartization and the application cases of smart technologies in the defense sector were considered, and the implications and factors for future diffusion were derived.
