대화 분석에 입각한 고등학교 ‘중국어Ⅰ’의 요청 표현 연구

본고는 대화 분석의 관점에서 교육과정 및 현행 고등학교 중국어 교과서에 수록한 ‘요청’ 표현을 분석하여 고등학교 ‘중국어Ⅰ’ 교과목에서 가르쳐야 할 ‘요청-수락/거절’의 인접쌍, 선호 조직, 순차 조직을 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 교과서는 어떤 내용을 어떻게 수록해야 하며 교사는 어떤 내용을 가르쳐야 할지 약간의 제언을 하였다. 11종 고등학교 교과서 『중국어Ⅰ』에 수록한 ‘요청’ 표현을 분석한 결과 대체적으로 교육과정을 반영하여 ‘요청-수락’의 인접쌍을 제시하였으며 이를 포함한 순차 구조로 본문을 구성하였다. 더 나아가 ‘예비 요청-인가 신호-요청-수락’의 순차 확장 구조의 본문을 제시한 교과서도 있었다. 다만 교육과정과는 달리 ‘요청-거절’의 인접쌍을 수록한 교과서는 없었다. 또한 학습목표를 제시하고 ‘요청-수락’ 표현의 기능을 설명하는 데 있어서 미흡한 점이 있었다. 이에 본고는 개선 방안으로 고등학교 ‘중국어Ⅰ’에서 다룰 수 있는 ‘요청-수락/거절’ 표현의 교수 내용을 제시하였다. 고등학교 ‘중국어Ⅰ’ 교과목은 의사소통능력을 교과의 중요 역량으로 삼는다. 이를 위하여 교과서를 편찬할 때 교육과정에서 요구하는 ‘요청-수락/거절’ 표현의 언어 형태를 파악하고 ‘요청-수락 거절’ 표현의 대화 조직을 이해하여 이를 제대로 반영하여야 한다. 또한 교사는 교과서의 미흡한 점을 파악하여 학생들에게 이를 보완 설명할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the expressions of ‘request’ in high school Chinese textbook ‘Chinese 1’ from the perspective of the dialogue analysis to examine teaching and learning contents. The paper analyzed the expressions of ‘request’ in current curriculum and the high school Chinese textbook and brought out the adjacency pair of ‘request-acceptance/refusal’, the sequence organization and the preference organization which must be taught in the high school ‘Chinese 1’ course. Based on the results, the paper gave some suggestions of what contents to include in the textbook and how to teach. The result of analyzing the expressions of ‘request’ in all 11 high school textbooks of ‘Chinese 1’ showed that most of the textbooks included the adjacency pair of ‘request-acceptance’ with sequence organization reflecting the curriculum. Furthermore, there were some textbooks which presented the text with the extended sequence organization of ‘pre-request–go-ahead–request-acceptance’. However, unlike the curriculum, there was no textbook containing the adjacency pair of ‘request-refusal’. In addition, there were some insufficiency in presenting the learning goals and explaining the function of the 'request-acceptance' expressions. Thus, as an improvement plan, the paper presented the teaching contents of the expressions “request-acceptance/refusal” that can be included in ‘Chinese 1’ in high school. The high school ‘Chinese 1’ course takes the communicative competence as an important skills to achieve. When compiling textbooks with this purpose, it is necessary to understand the language form of the expressions “request-acceptance/refusal” required in the curriculum, and understand the dialogue structure of the expressions “request-acceptance/refusal” and properly reflect them. Moreover, the teachers need to figure out the deficiencies of the textbooks and try to give supplementary explanation to the students.
