Abstract
The bases of Chinese literature are the fact that all literary works were written in Chinese Characters and the geographical space that is limited in East Asia. In East Asia, as the geographical space, the exchange of culture and people between countries were deeply related to "Sahayng" (dispatching an envoy). In addition, from the 17 century, in East Asia, knowledge and information were distributed to many countries by means of "Sahayng". Between the Chosun Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, between the Chosun Dynasty and the Bakufu in Edo, the system of "Sahayng" worked as an accelerator of the distribution of knowledge and information. In particular, "the glasses" provided a motivation to transfigure the knowledge and information in the late of Chosun Dynasty. The glasses made an innovation of reading and a publishing boom of academic writings and literary works. In addition, the glasses contributed to the accumulation and the distribution of knowledge and information. In the late of Chosun Dynasty, as the glasses came into wide use to various classes, it offered the change in everyday life as well as in the arts and provided a chance of the technical development. Meanwhile, the middle class people distributed knowledge and information by means of personal networking. The intellectuals in the late of Chosun Dynasty built a person network with the foreign intellectuals, bought the books, and learnt the foreign culture by aid of the middle class people. Here, the roles of translators were remarkable rather than others.
