본 연구는 ‘언어생활과 한자’ 교과서 본문에 수록된 한자 어휘를 분석하였다. 2022 개정 ‘언어생활과 한자’ 교과서는 학생들의 어휘력과 문해력 향상을 목표로 한자와 한자 어휘를 익히는 데 중점을 둔 융합 선택 과목이다. 교과서에 수록된 한자 어휘는 출판사별로 93개∼1,471개까지 다양하다. 수록된 한자 어휘의 96% 이상이 2∼4글자이고, 대부분 중학교 및 고등학교 한문 교육용 기초 한자로 이루어져 있다. 데이터 분석에는 Excel과 Google Colab 등 도구가 활용되었으며, AI 도구의 도움을 받아 다량의 한자 데이터를 효율적으로 분석하였다. 한자 어휘는 국립국어원 한국어 기초사전의 의미 범주와 현대 한국어 어휘 빈도 사전의 빈도 순위를 참고하여 실생활 활용도를 분석했다. 본 연구는 한자 어휘 교육의 체계화를 위한 데이터 기반 분석, 그리고 기술 활용의 중요성을 강조하였으며, 향후 한문교육용 한자 어휘 아카이브 구축의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the Sino-Korean vocabulary included in the main text of the ‘Chinese Characters in Korean Language Life’ textbook. The 2022 revised ‘Chinese Characters in Korean Language Life’ textbook is an integrated elective course aimed at improving students’ vocabulary and literacy, focusing on learning Chinese characters and Sino-Korean words. The number of Sino-Korean vocabulary items included in the textbook varies by publisher, ranging from 93 to 1,471. More than 96% of the included words are composed of two to four characters, and most are based on the basic Chinese characters used in middle and high school basic chinese characters for Classical Chinese Education. For data analysis, tools such as Excel and Google Colab were utilized, and with the help of AI tools, a large amount of Chinese Characters data was efficiently analyzed. The practical usage of the Sino-Korean vocabulary was analyzed by referring to the semantic categories of the National Institute of Korean Language’s Basic Korean Dictionary and the frequency rankings of the Contemporary Korean Word Frequency Dictionary. This study emphasizes the importance of data-driven analysis and technology utilization for the systematization of Sino-Korean vocabulary education, and suggests the need to build a Sino-Korean vocabulary archive for Classical Chinese education in the future.
