2022 개정 교육과정 『언어생활과 한자』의 단원 구성과 내용상 특징 분석

2025년부터 고등학교 융합선택 과목에서 사용되는 7종 『언어생활과 한자』의 저자는 각각 4인∼9인으로 구성되어 있는데, 그 내용은 저자의 연령이나 의식 등과 상관성이 크다. 7종 『언어생활과 한자』는 대단원이 4개∼12개, 소단원이 15개∼48개로 편차가 있다. 단원의 주제는 교육과정에서 요구하는 ‘내용 체계’ 및 ‘성취 기준’이나 ‘핵심 아이디어’ 항의 개념을 그대로 준용한 교과서가 있지만, 대부분 나름의 주제를 설정하여 단원을 구분하였다. 그런데 대부분 대단원과 소단원의 주제가 조화롭지 못하여 상호 긴밀성이 약한 문제가 있다. 단원이 설정한 주제에 따라 한자 어휘가 선별되었는데, 주제와 맞지 않는 어휘가 상당수 포함된 문제가 있다. 또 기본적인 어휘가 배제되고 확장적이고 이면적인 어휘가 선별된 사례가 다수 있다. 어휘의 중요도나 난이도를 고려한 교과서는 찾기 힘들었다. 그리고 이미 고유어처럼 쓰이는 어휘를 굳이 한자 어휘로 교수하려는 사례가 상당수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 기본 어휘에 관한 연구와 협의가 절실하다.
Abstract
The authors of the 7 types of Chinese Characters in Korean Language Life that will be used as convergence elective subjects in high school starting in 2025 consist of four to nine people, and the content is highly correlated with the author’s age and consciousness. All 7 types textbooks are composed of the main unit and sub-unit. There is a deviation in the units: 4∼12 units in the main unit and 15∼48 units in the sub-unit. In terms of unit subject, there are textbooks that directly apply the concepts of ‘Content System’, ‘Achievement Standard’ or ‘Key Idea’ required by the curriculum, but most of the units are classified by setting the subject. However, there is a problem that the subject of main unit and sub-unit is not in harmony, resulting in weak mutual closeness. The Chinese character vocabularies are selected according to the subject set by the units, but there is a problem that many words which do not match the subject are included. In addition, there are many cases in which basic vocabulary is excluded, and expansive or reverse vocabulary is selected. It was difficult to find a textbook that considered the importance or difficulty of vocabulary. Also there are many cases in which vocabulary that is already used as native language is taught in Chinese character vocabulary. In order to solve these problems, the research and consultation on basic vocabulary are earnestly needed.
