2022 개정 교육과정 ‘언어생활과 한자’ 교과서의 교육과정 구현과 그 방향 -내용 요소와 성취기준을 중심으로-

이 논문은 2022 개정 교육과정에 의해 개발된 7종의 고등학교 ‘언어생활과 한자’ 교과서를 분석하여 교과서에 나타난 문제점을 살펴 보고 바람직한 교과서 구성에 대하여 고민해 보본 것이다. ‘언어생활과 한자’ 7종의 교과서는 성취기준(학습 목표)을 비교적 충실하게 반영하려고 노력한 흔적이 보이지만 학습 내용 요소를 목차로 구성한 점, 교육과정 상의 연계성을 고려하지 않은 지나친 도입 단원 구성, 학생의 수준을 생각하지 않은 글감 등은 문제점으로 지적할 수 있다. 이에 이러한 문제점의 해소를 위해 단원 설정 및 내용 구성, 글감(학습 내용) 제시 방식, 도입 단원 구성 등에 대하여 수업 시수, 학생 수준, 교육과정과의 연계성을 고려하여 나름대로의 바람직한 교과서 집필 방향을 제시해 보았다. 교과서가 교육과정을 충실히 반영하기 위해서는 인정 심의 단계에서 교과의 목표에 부합하는 내용으로 구성되었는지 꼼꼼하게 검토될 필요가 있다. 아울러 교과서 집필진의 교육과정에 대한 이해를 높이기 위한 교육과정 사전 연수와 같은 과정이 필요하다. 적어도 이 두 가지가 선결되어야 교과의 교육목표와 성취기준을 충실히 구현하는 교과서가 개발될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This paper analyzes seven high school ‘Chinese Characters in Korean Language Life’s textbook developed according to the 2022 Classical Chinese Curriculum, examines the problems in the textbooks, and considers the desirable composition of the textbooks. The seven ‘Chinese Characters in Korean Language Life’s textbook show that they have tried to faithfully reflect the achievement standards (learning objectives) relatively well, but there are problems such as organizing the learning content elements as a table of contents, excessive introductory unit composition that does not consider the curriculum connection, and writing materials that do not consider the level of the students. To resolve these problems, I have suggested a desirable direction for textbook writing by considering the number of class hours, student level, and connection with the curriculum in terms of unit setting and content composition, writing materials (learning content) presentation method, and introductory unit composition. In order for textbooks to faithfully reflect the curriculum, they need to be thoroughly reviewed at the approval review stage to see if they are composed of content that matches the objectives of the subject. In addition, a process such as pre-curriculum training is needed to enhance the understanding of the curriculum of the textbook writing team. At least these two things must be met before a textbook can be developed that faithfully implements the educational objectives and achievement standards of the subject.
