초록
This report is categorized what kind of confronted relationship in Japanese ‘-te iru’ versus Korean ‘-ko issta’ ‘-e issta’ in the real novels through continuation, result, simplicity, experience, repeat based on the Yoshikawa (1971). As a result, I have found that Japanese ‘-te iru’ has a wide range of translation in Korean while Korean ‘-ko issta’ ‘-e issta’ tend to stay in the limited usage in Japanese ‘-te iru’ because they don't mean conditions. When translated Japanese ‘-te iru’ has more relation to ‘-nun/-nun da’ than ‘-ko issta’ and ‘-e issta’ in Korean which have been used. When it comes to usage, ‘-nun/-nun da’ have had a wider range of usages ; present fact, habit, condition, and result than any other usage, which is the main reason of the multiple usage of ‘-nun/-nun da’. When we translate Japanese novels in Korean, we instinctively translate freely ,for example, changing the order of vocabulary, inserting new vocabulary, using idiomatic expressions or changing Korean words which have the similar meanings to find more natural ways to make readers understand. Yet Korean ‘-ko issta’ ‘-e issta’ have rather meant ‘-te ita’ which is used to represent the facts in the past in translation, Japanese ‘-te iru’ and ‘-te iru’ have in common at the point of aspect even though they have slight difference in case that the ignition point corresponds to the observation or precedence with it. As we have studied above, it is important that we should translate the major contents in the book close enough to the intention of the author with a lot of understanding not to harm the first intention of the publication in the case of japanese ‘-te iru’ which only means Korean ‘-ko issta’ ‘-e issta’ and Koean ‘-ko issta’ ‘-e issta’ which is confined as ‘-te iru’.
