초록
According to the traditional Japanese history, the power of ancient Japanese kings was superior to that of Korean kings. The first reason for this opinion is a record of “Nihonshoki(日本書紀)” influenced by Sinocentrism of ‘the Japanese nation under the ritsuryo codes(律令国家)’ of the eighth century. The second reason is that Japanese analyzed the record of “Nihonshoki” with wrong historic methodology. One of the problematic historic recognitions resulting from the wrong historic methodology was the ‘tribute of Imna(任那調)’. Having reexamined such a problematic history, however, I understood that it was just an opinion of “Nihonshoki”, not a fact. One reason is that there was no relation between the situation of the Korean Peninsula and the time of the “tribute of Imna". However, “Nihonshoki” tells that the ancient Japanese nation received the “tribute of Imna" by utilizing the military tensions between Silla, Baekje and Goguryeo. The second reason is the fact that the related records do not tell the same history. The historical records of that period, the records with confused historical periods, and the records made afterwards are complicatedly mixed. Third, at the end of the sixth century, there was a force calling itself Imna after Imna had already been collapsed by Silla. This is because the “Nihonshoki”, written in the eighth century, does not have enough awareness of the forces sending messengers of Imna and, also, of Imna itself. The fourth is because we did not understand the history of relations between Korea and Japan in the sixth or seventh century on the floating perspective. In other words, this is because we lacked the consideration for the marine power that was active on the sovereignty and the neighboring national borders.
