내실 있는 학교현장실습학기제를 위한 일고찰

본 연구는, 교육부의 ‘초・중등 교원양성체제 발전방안’ 중의 학교현장실습학기제를 테마로 하여, 시범운영 중인 부산의 A대학교와 B고등학교의 한 학기 동안의 과정을 실행연구 방법으로 살펴본 뒤, 학교현장실습학기제의 문제점 및 개선점을 분석하여 앞으로의 교육실습이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 고찰하였다. 그 결과 교육실습생을 지도, 관리하는 실습학교측은 과중 업무로 부담감이 증가하고 있는 실정이어서, 교원양성기관과 실습학교 간의 양분화된 역할 분배의 필요성이 요구된다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 아직 체계가 잡히지 않은 단계에서의 학교현장실습학기제는 지도교수와 교육실습생에게 모두 막연한 마음이 가중되게 하였다. 긍정적인 측면에서는 실습학교의 담당 교사와 교육실습생은 서로에게 좋은 자극이 되면서 동반성장한 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 또, 교육실습생은 학교현장실습학기제를 통해서 본인의 꿈을 더욱 구체화 시키고, 교사라는 꿈에 한층 더 다가가고자 하는 열망이 생기게 되었다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 위와 같이, 학교현장실습학기제의 시범운영의 한 학기를 참여관찰로 분석해 보았는데, 본 연구 결과로 나타난 학교현장실습학기제에 대한 문제점을 토대로 개선점을 아래와 같이 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 내실 있는 학교현장실습학기제를 위해서는 구체적이고 체계화된 시스템구축이 시급하다. 둘째, 형식적인 틀이 아닌, 정서적 측면까지 고려한 학교현장실습학기제의 운영 계획을 수립해야 하겠다.
Abstract
This study examined the school field training semester system in the Ministry of Education’s ‘Development Plan for Elementary and Secondary School Teacher Training System’ as a theme, and examined the process of one semester at University A and High School B in Busan, which are currently being piloted, using an action research method. Then, it analyzed the problems and improvements of the school field training semester system and considered the direction in which future teaching practice should proceed. As a result, it was found that the teaching practice schools that guide and manage teaching practice students are increasingly burdened by excessive work, and thus it was found that there is a need for a divided role distribution between teacher training institutions and teaching practice schools. In addition, the school field training semester system, which is still in the stage of being systematic, has caused vague feelings to both supervising professors and teaching practice students. On the positive side, it was seen that the teachers in charge of the teaching practice school and teaching practice students were a good stimulus to each other and grew together. In addition, it was found that the interns of the school field practice semester system made their dreams more concrete and developed a desire to get closer to their dream of becoming a teacher. As above, we analyzed one semester of the pilot operation of the school field practice semester system through participant observation, and based on the problems of the school field practice semester system revealed in this study, we would like to suggest the following improvements. First, in order to have a substantial school field practice semester system, it is urgent to establish a specific and systematic system. Second, we should establish an operation plan for the school field practice semester system that considers not only the formal framework but also the emotional aspect.
