참여란 개인이 자신의 과업에 적극적으로 참여하도록 이끄는 정서적, 인지적, 행동적 요소를 포함하는 심리적 구성개념이다. 본 연구의 주요 목적은 자신감, 헌신, 활력 및 열의로 구성된 다차원적 운동참여 질문지(AEQ: Athlete Engagement Questionnaire; Lonsdale, Hodge, & Jackson, 2007)를 무용상황에 적용시켜 그 측정모형의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 무용을 전공하는 대학생을 대상으로 예비조사(N=120)와 본조사(N=358)가 실시되었다. 예비조사 자료는 기술통계와 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 처리되었으며, 본조사 자료는 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 신뢰도 분석 및 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 처리되었다. 확인적 요인분석의 결과 4요인 16문항의 측정모형은 자료에 적합하였다(x2²=407.22. df=98, p=.001, Q=4.15, TLI=.922, CFI=.937, RMSEA=.074). 구조방정식모형 분석의 결과 무용참여 척도의 하위요인과그릿과의 관계는 예측타당도를 입증하였다. 이 결과는 국문판 무용참여 질문지가 대학생들의 무용참여도를 신뢰롭고 타당하게 측정하는데 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
Engagement is a psychological construct that was originally defined in an organizational context to refer to the emotional, cognitive and physical components that drive people to get actively involved in their occupational duties. The Athlete Engagement Questionnaire(AEQ: Lonsdale, Hodge, & Jackson, 2007) conceptualizes engagement as a multidimensional construct comprising four factors: confidence, vigor, dedication and enthusiasm. The purpose of this study was to adapt the AEQ into Korean version of dance engagement questionnaire(DEQ). DEQ was administered to a sample of 360 university dance students and data were subjected to a confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Following an EFA and CFA, a final model, with 16 items and four first-order fac- tors (confidence, dedication, vigor, and enthusiasm), exhibited a good fit to the data(x2=407.22. df=98, p=.001, Q=4.15, TLI=.922, CFI=.937, RMSEA=.074). In the final stage associations between dance en- gagement and grit provided evidence for the nomological validity of the DEQ. The results confirmed that all four dimensions were related to a engagement factor in a university dance setting.
