본 연구의 목적은 개념 기반 탐구학습으로서의 음악 창작 교수학습 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 통해, 지식이 급증하는 디지털 시대에 개별적인 사실과 예시를 가르치는 것을 넘어 탐구학습을 통한 개념적 이해와전이 능력 신장을 중점에 두는 음악교육을 구현하고자 한다. 이에 학습한 내용을 바탕으로 새로운 상황에서 자기 주도적으로 문제를 해결하는 능력 함양을 궁극적 목표로 하는 개념 기반 탐구학습의 특성을 반영하여 연구를 진행하였다. 우선, 개념 기반 탐구학습의 주요 요소와 교육적 가치를 논의하고, 이를 바탕으로 2022 개정음악과 교육과정을 분석하였다. 또한, 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정을 반영하여 중학교 창작 영역에서의 개념기반 탐구학습을 구현하기 위해, 지식과 과정의 구조, 일반화, 안내 질문, 탐구 활동을 위한 다양한 전략과 구체적 평가 계획의 예시를 제안함으로써 개념적 사고와 탐구 활동이 어떻게 연계되는지 제시하였다. 향후, 본연구의 예시들을 현장에 실제 적용하여 그 효과와 영향에 대해 면밀하게 살펴보고, 창작뿐만 아니라 연주 및감상 영역에서 또한 개념 기반 탐구학습에 대한 논의가 이루어지기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This study advocates for a music education approach that moves beyond the teaching of isolated facts and examples, prioritizing conceptual understanding and the development of transferable skills through inquiry-based learning. In an era where knowledge expands rapidly, concept-based inquiry learning seeks to equip learners with the ability to autonomously solve problems in novel contexts by applying acquired knowledge. By integrating conceptual thinking with inquiry-based learning, this study proposes an educational framework that fosters learners' adaptability to changing environments. It focuses on instructional strategies for music composition within concept-based in quiry learning. To achieve this, the study examines the key elements and educational value of concept-based in quiry learning and analyzes the 2022 revised Music Curriculum. Based on this foundation, it outlines strategies for structuring knowledge and processes, formulating generalizations, developing guiding questions, designing inquiry activities, and establishing detailed evaluation methods for implementing concept-based inquiry learning in middle school composition education. These strategies illustrate how conceptual thinking and inquiry activities can be seamlessly integrated. The study emphasizes the significance of conceptual thinking in enabling students to grasp core ideas through inquiry and apply them effectively across diverse contexts. It also highlights the pivotal role of teachers in facili tating self-directed learning by providing appropriate scaffolding tailored to students' needs. Future research could explore the practical implementation of these strategies to evaluate their ef fectiveness and overall impact. Additionally, discussions on concept-based inquiry learning should ex tend beyond composition to include performance and listening domains, paving the way for a more holistic and comprehensive approach to music education.
