Q 복음서의 서기관에 관한 역사비평적 연구

최근 Q 연구는 Q 사람들 가운데 존재했었던 서기관들에게 관심을 기울인다. 일군의 학자들은 Q복음서의 전승자들이 “마을 서기관”이었다고 주장하기 시작했다. 그들의 주장에 따르면 마을 서기관들은 다양한 서기관 계층 중에서 하부층위를 차지했던 사람들이었다. 이러한 방향의 연구들 가운데에는 Q복음서의 마을 서기관들이 “세리”였다는 대담한 가설도 발견된다. 그러나 Q복음서의 서기관들이 갈릴리 마을을 돌아다니며 문맹인들을 위한 하부행정을 담당했던 마을 서기관이라는 주장은 확실하지 않고, 세금을 걷는 세리업무를 담당했다는 주장은 더 더욱 확실하지 않다. 이러한 생각들은 Q의 초기 층위(소위 말하는 Q1)가 지혜의 특징을 가지고 있다는 사고방식을 무리하게 확장시킨 결과이다. Q복음서의 서기관들은 Q1의 장르와 구성이 아니라 그들이 Q복음서에 남긴 직접적인 성서인용의 흔적으로부터 추적되어야 한다. Q복음서의 서기관들은 직접 인용 본문 가운데 그들의 흔적을 남겼고, 따라서 그 흔적을 통해 보다 안전하게 그들의 관심사와 성향을 파악할 수 있다. 직접적인 성서인용(Q3:4; 4:4,8,10,12; Q7:22; Q7:27; Q13:35)에 관한 연구를 통해서 그 서기관들이 LXX를 사용했으며 자신들에게 주어진 신학적 문제들을 LXX에 대한 예언적 해석을 통해서 해결했음을 알 수 있다. Q복음서의 서기관들은 세례자 요한으로 말미암은 신학적 난제, 예수의 정체성의 문제, 예수의 죽음과 예루살렘 성전의 멸망의 문제, 그리고 당대의 잘못된 메시아관의 문제를 구약성서에 대한 예언적 해석을 통해서 해결했다. 그들은 구약성서의 해석을 통해 세례자가 예수를 예비하는 자이며, 예수의 기적이 구약성서 예언의 성취이며, 예수는 신명기 말씀을 통해서 잘못된 메시아의 길이 아닌 진정한 하나님의 아들 메시아의 길을 걸었다는 사실을 증명하려 했다. 이 서기관들은 공동체 내부에서 걸림돌이 되는 신학적 난제들과 공동체 외부에서 제기되는 비판을 성서적 지식의 활용을 통해서 해결했던 Q 교회의 지도자들이며 신학자들이었다. Q복음서의 서기관들은 Q복음서의 최종적인 형성과정과 신학을 이해함에 있어, 그리고 Q 사람들의 사회사를 이해함에 있어서 참으로 중요한 사람들이다.
Abstract
Recently Q scholars began to take interested in Scribes within Q people. Some scholars(J. S. Kloppenborg, R. Piper, W. E. Arnal) insisted that Q poeple were “village scribes(κωμογραμματεύς).” According to their opinion This village scribes were lower-level administrators in Galilee. D. E. Oakman asserted that this village scribes were tex-collecters or stewards. But these village scribes hypothesis is not certain. these hypothesis derived from idea that formative strata of Q(so called Q1) had wisdom genre and scribal structure. However, the stratigraphy of Q, the genre of Q1, and the structure of Q1 are not strong basis for Q-scribes. Q's scribes must not be sought from scribal character of Q1 but direct citation of Old Testament. Q's scribes left their trace on citation, therefore we can more safely understand their interests and characters. Q's scribes used LXX and thereby they tried to solve their theological problems. Scribes of Q solved the problems of John the Baptist, the identity of Jesus, the death of Jesus and collapse of Jerusalem temple, and several distorted perspectives of the Messiah. They tried to prove that John the Baptist was the preparing man for Jesus, miracles of Jesus were the fulfillment of OT, Jesus was the Son of God who believed God in the Scripture of Deuteronomy. These scribes were theologians and church leaderships. These scribes are very important in understanding the formation of Q and social history of Q.
