일본 민주당 신정권의 환동해권 외교정책의 변화 비교연구: 구 자민당 정권들과 비교하여

Abstract

In 2009, sixty years of the Liberal Democratic Party’s reign in Japan was finished. For the first time the Democratic Party of Japan secured the majority of the parliament and Mr. Hatoyama became Prime Minister of Japan. Mr. Hatoyama advocated ‘Asian focused Diplomacy’ which dramatically changed from LDP’s American-Japanese centred relationship, then what is Asian focused Diplomacy and what is really change under DPJ?In this article we try to focus on what and how much Japan’s foreign policy has changed after the shift of the government and particularly concentrate on the foreign policy of East-sea Rim coutries such as Korea Republic, DPRK, China and Russia. This is valuable because there are not enough researches on DPJ; previous reaserches of Japan have focused on LDP only. Therefore it is worthwhile to generate future prospect how this brand new government will head to and what effect will come to this region.
