생성형 인공지능 기반 국내 대학교육 연구의 동향 분석

2022년 ChatGPT의 등장 이후, 고등교육 현장에서도 생성형 인공지능 기반의 교수·학습 환경에 대한 관심이 급격히 확산되고 있다. 본 연구는 2023년부터 2025년 6월까지 발표된 KCI 등재 논문 130편을 수집하고, 이를 교과목, 연구 주제, 연구 유형, 교육 대상, 인식 분석 등 다양한 분석 기준에 따라 정리하였다. 분석 결과, 생성형 AI는 글쓰기, 언어 교육, 프로그래밍 등 생산 중심의 교과목에서 주로 활용되었으며, 연구 주제는 학습자 경험과 교수-학습 방법에 대한 탐색이 가장 활발하였다. 특히 질적 연구가 양적 연구보다 높은 비중을 차지하였으며 생성형AI 활용에 대한 연구자의 인식을 분석한 결과 긍정적인 인식이 전체적으로 우세한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내 고등교육에서 생성형 AI의 활용 양상과 그에 대한 학문적 반응을 체계적으로 조망함으로써 향후 연구 및 교육 정책 수립의 방향을 제시한다.
Abstract
Since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, interest in generative AI-based teaching and learning environments has rapidly expanded in higher education. This study collected 130 Korean Citation Index (KCI) journal articles published between 2023 and June 2025 and analyzed them according to categories such as subject area, research topic, methodology, learner group, and sentiment. Results showed that generative AI was mainly used in production-oriented subjects like writing, language education, and programming. Studies on learner experience and teaching methods were most prevalent, with qualitative research outnumbering quantitative. Findings from the analysis of researchers’ perceptions of generative AI demonstrated that positive attitudes were generally more prevalent. This study provides a comprehensive overview of generative AI use in Korean higher education and suggests directions for future research and policy development.
